How To

Repairing A Drone's Damaged Motor

First, identify the broken part of the motor to repair it. To do this, remove the propeller and motor shaft. Next, remove all wires from the motor shaft and inspect the internal workings. If you find something wrong, it is time to identify the problem.

You don't need to worry if there's no damage to your motor. However, a motor that looks like the one below will require you to replace certain components before you can fly again.

Let's say that a motor is bent so that it can no longer turn. You will need to bend it back into shape. To hold the engine, use a pair pliers or a vice grip. After you have completed this step, be sure to inspect the motor for any signs of wear.

Once everything is fine, place the propeller onto the motor shaft. You are now ready for your drone to fly.
