Chinese military officials are demonstrating a range of drones and other aerial vehicles at a recent trade show. These include the CH-805 small "marsupial", the concept CK-20 stealth-target drone, and SW-6 training drone. Both drones are designed for reconnaissance. SW-6 is also an ideal candidate for the China drone "swarm", which involves many small drones connected together.

Caihong drones debut

Chinese military officials recently deployed eight Wing Loong 2 and Caihong 5 medium-altitude long-endurance drones at a mixed military-civilian airport in western China. This is the first significant deployment of Chinese drones. The drones are similar to the U.S. MQ-9 Reaper and are considered potential future military assets. Here is a closer look at Caihong 5.

China and Islamic nations have been long friends and have had successful win-win partnerships. This cooperation has created a new model in peaceful coexistence among different cultures. Chinese Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation will soon open its first Middle East facility to produce state-owned drones, such as the Caihong-4. The factory will produce drones of the CH-4 and CH-5 types and other equipment. It will also provide after-sales support to the Middle East.

Yilong/Wing Loong LE380 sensor tower

The first variant of the Wing Loong family, the Wing Loong I, flew on its maiden flight in October 2007. The device can transport up to four kg of payload. It can also reach speeds of up to 200 km. The device's sensors and payload can be easily seen and targeted with a sensor turret under the nose.

The Wing Loong comes equipped with a camera, a sensor turret and a microphone. Its wing-shaped design and three-bladed propeller allow it to fly at speeds as high as 280 km per hour. It can also reach maximum altitudes of five kilometers. The Yilong can complete its mission for 20 hours without refueling. The Yilong is capable of transmitting data at distances up to 200km. It also has impressive take-off distances of 600m and 800m.

Chinese companies have been developing these drones for several years now. Their latest version is the Wing Loong 1. It's the first in an entirely new family. The Wing Loong 1 has a payload capacity of 200 kilograms and a top speed of 200 km/h. The Yilong/Wing Loong LE380 sensor is used to monitor the drones' surroundings. Drones can also be equipped with weapons.
